Assists with the day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Accounting Department, including expense reporting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions. Manages technology administration for the accounting team, including upgrades and enhancements. Maintains, ensures, and problem solves issues related to connectivity between financial systems, including: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, expense tools, Application Programming Interface (API) connections, and others. Processes and records Accounts Payable transactions and ensures that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with Finance policies and procedures. Performs various journal entries, reconciliations, and general accounts analysis, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses. Reviews and processes expense reports and receipts submitted by cardholders monthly. Contributes to the Finance team by sharing information and assisting others in a variety of tasks. Participates in finance as a hands-on team player. Helps identify and implement areas for process improvement. This is a remote work opportunity. The candidate must be able to telecommute within the United States.Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 18 months experience as an accountant, auditor, or related.
