Duties: The Medical Technologist will assist in diagnosis & treatment of diseases by performing laboratory tests following established standards and practices. Using specialized scientific technical knowledge, perform pre-analytic, analytic, and post analytic phases of laboratory testing. Critically evaluate specimens & correlate all lab results to the clinical picture of each individual patient, including: preparing the patient for lab testing, accurately labeling, handling, preserving, processing, transporting, and storing specimens.
