Tibi LLC seeks a Purchasing Director in New York, NY. Job duties include: Plan and coordinate purchasing and inventory requirements for both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and wholesale sales channels to ensure product availability and alignment with sales demand. Monitor inventory turnover and stock levels and analyze sales trends. Prepare and analyze internal reports, including market analysis, post-season sales performance analysis, and competitor pricing, to support purchasing and merchandising strategies. Coordinate with suppliers, production teams, and internal departments to plan production timelines and manage procurement activities based on lead times. Develop annual and seasonal purchasing plans and assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for key financial metrics, including gross sales, net sales, revenue realization rate, and profit margin. Candidates must have at least a Bachelors degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent as determined by a qualified credentials evaluations service, and at least two years of professional experience working in e-commerce retail merchandising. Must have at least two years of experience performing in-season merchandise planning and managing open-to-buy (OTB) budgets to optimize inventory levels, maximize sales opportunities, and mitigate inventory risk. Must have at least two years of experience planning and executing promotional and markdown strategies to support sales performance and inventory optimization. Must have at least two years of experience preparing and updating financial forecasts and re-forecasts based on sales performance, inventory levels, and current business trends.
