Job ID#: PI0715Employer: Agape Studio Inc (DBA: Agape Music and Arts Center)Worksite: 83-27 Broadway, Flr 2, Elmhurst, NY 11373Rate of Pay: $71,261 per year Responsibilities: * Provide piano instruction to students in a private music studio setting; * Teach fundamental to intermediate piano skills, including note reading, rhythm, and repertoire; * Follow established teaching materials and lesson plans provided by the studio; * Monitor student progress and provide general feedback during lessons; * Assist in preparing students for studio recitals and examinations; * Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student attendance and general progress.Requirements: * Bachelors Degree in Music Performance, Music Education, Musicology, or a related field. * 12 months of piano teaching or other music-related work experience. Internship experience is accepted. * Capability to teach Music Theory and Aural Skills across beginner to intermediate levels.
