ExodusPoint Capital Management, LP has an opening for a Risk Developer in New York, NY. Architect and develop robust, low-latency, scalable solutions in the Risk space by working with business partners (including Risk Managers) on both the Fixed Income and Equities side to help the team support the Risk business. Develop and implement models to compute equities factor-based risk and returns calculations, compute betas crowding risk and provide tools for investment and risk management groups. Support Risk Systems and participate in the end-of-day support cycle by utilizing experience in multi-threading, client server and distributed computing. Implement best practices with respect to data structures working in Linux environment and with NoSQL databases and Service Oriented Architecture by liaising with Risk Managers to understand the business requirements to ensure a robust Risk Tech Framework.Must possess at least a masters degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer or related role. Must also possess the following: at least 2 years of experience with JAVA/Spring/SpringBoot/Microservices framework; at least 2 years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture; at least 2 years of experience with AWS/Cloud Technologies; at least 2 years of experience with PYTHON/Pandas; at least 1 year of experience with Finance and pricing of basic instruments (equities, equity derivatives); and at least 1 year of experience in Equity Factor based Risk modeling.
