Conduct macroeconomic research and analyze financial performance and socio-economic factors and data to provide coverage and reporting for LatAm Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay).2\. Document and present research reports and forecasts to both internal and external stakeholders in order to inform and recommend financial decision-making.3\. Contribute to regular daily publications, writing up market-relevant economic and political events, as well as to quarterly publications.4\. Write ad-hoc pieces covering specific issues of importance (e.g. elections, changes in macroeconomic outlook).5\. Prepare regional essays analyzing Latin American economic trends.6\. Present views to institutional investors and corporate clients in meetings, as well as investor trips.7\. Work closely with the sales and trading desk to meet their day-to-day needs.8\. Position requires 20% travel domestically to meet with investors and internationally to meet with policymakers, business leaders and regulatory agencies.9\. May telecommute.REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a related economic analyst/researcher occupation.Rate of pay: $155K - $225K per year. The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate.
