JOB CODE: PT0926 POSITION TITLE: Artificial Intelligence Engineer POSITION DUTIES: Develop full-stack web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, implementing type-safe APIs and real-time data interfaces for fund administrators and investors. Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and language model pipelines to automate fund administration processes, including document extraction, transaction classification, capital activity detection, and portfolio reconciliation. Architect and maintain backend systems integrating diverse financial data streams - portfolio holdings, capital accounts, limited partner records, bank transactions, and investment documents - ensuring secure transmission and efficient retrieval. Build and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, SQS, S3, API Gateway) to support real-time AI-driven analytics and high-availability financial applications. Design and implement ETL pipelines for ingesting and reconciling financial data from banking APIs, email systems, and uploaded documents. Collaborate with product managers, operations teams, and clients to translate complex fund administration requirements into technical solutions. Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and large language models providers to strengthen automation capabilities and data integrity. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and 1 year of experience as a software developer. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Education or experience with the following: Fine-tuning and evaluating language models by curating big datasets and deploying them on serverless Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) infrastructure. Monitoring and maintaining production services in an on-call capacity by responding to incidents and debugging production traces using Sentry, Datadog, or PagerDuty. Developing applications on AWS cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools including SST, Terraform, or CloudFormation. Full-stack web development using Next.js, React, TypeScript, tRPC, and PostgreSQL. Developing complex AI evaluation and observability platforms using tools including Langsmith or Braintrust. Processing and analyzing complex financial data using Python. Designing background jobs through asynchronous task pipelines using tools including Temporal or Trigger.dev. Building and deploying artificial intelligence agents using large language models that involve multi-agent orchestration and handoffs.
