Sr. Software Engineer, full-time. LibreMax Capital, LLC, New York City. Work closely with our Investment, Quantitative Research and Operations teams to build sophisticated software solutions using web technologies to help manage risk, develop trading tools, and build core infrastructure (40%) including: Work with software developers/software engineers of our teams to identify software design solutions and to ensure design compatibility with our existing systems; Communicate with our Chief Risk Officer, team members, traders, or other internal clients to understand specific system requirements; Identify system data and software components required to meet user needs; and Develop application-specific software.Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures (20%).Provide advice on design concepts and design changes (15%).Communicate project information through live presentation, technical reports, or detailed emails (15%).Research, test, and verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes (5%).Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of our system infrastructure (5%).Requirements: Minimum Master's degree in computer science. Minimum 2 years experience as Software Engineer, Full-Stack Engineer, Software Developer Intern, or Full-Stack Developer Intern. Proven track record developing Full Stack applications requiring strong development skills using Python, Typescript, React, and SQL. Annual salary: $175,000-$220,000.
