Trust Accountant

TITLE: Trust Accountant REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree or equivalent in Accounting. JOB DUTIES: Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed records of all trust transactions, including receipts, payments, and distributions. Ensure compliance: ensure that all trust activities comply with terms of trust agreement, escrow accounts, relevant laws, and regulations. Prepare financial statements and reports: Generate periodic financial statements, accounting, and reports for clients, beneficiaries, and auditors. Process transactions: Process trust receipts, payments, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Resolve discrepancies: Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies related to trust accountancy activity. Communicate with stakeholders: Communicate with Firms clients, legal professionals, and financial institutions regarding trust account activity and provide regular updates. SALARY: $98,000 per year.
