App Architect Team Lead (Software Applications) VTEX COMMERCE CLOUD SOLUTIONS LLC — New York, NY App Architect Team Lead (Software Applications), VTEX Commerce Cloud Solutions LLC, New York, NY. The App Architect Team Lead will design, develop, and implement software applications and platform extensions for enterprise digital commerce environments; lead technical design and architecture activities, including application structure, integration strategy, and scalability planning; coordinate the work of software development and application architecture personnel on assigned projects; provide advanced technical guidance regarding software architecture, application design patterns, system integration methods, and distributed system principles; design scalable application architectures using modern development frameworks, APIs, and microservices; review software application code, technical designs, and architectural components to ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability; collaborate with product management, engineering, quality assurance, and DevOps teams across the software lifecycle; troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving software applications, integrations, architecture performance, and production environments; support software lifecycle management, including version control, testing coordination, release support, and deployment; develop and document technical standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices; provide technical mentorship and training to software developers; and analyze business and technical requirements to recommend software architecture solutions that support functionality, interoperability, and long-term platform performance. Requires an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 60 months (5 years) of experience in software application architecture, software development, or a related occupation.
