Software Engineer MPG Operations LLC — New York, NY The Software Engineer (multiple openings) at MPG Operations LLC in New York, NY will design and develop systems and processes to enhance our software development process. Design and develop new features and enhancements for critical frontend and backend business applications. Perform systems management and integration functions to support the core infrastructure functions within the Firm. Communicate with global Treasury stakeholders to understand the software requirements and contribute to development projects. Investigate system component suitability to manage issues, understand requirements, and solve internal challenges related to Treasury software development and engineering. Analyze information and evaluate results which will contribute to implementation and enhancement of the Firm's Treasury software systems. Engineer our enterprise-scale Treasury software systems and monitor end-to-end software application lifecycles. Salary: $193,461 - $250,000 per year. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, plus 5 years in a software development, or related, occupation. Must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: 1) software development using .NET, Python, Angular, and SQL; 2) design and develop highly scalable distributed systems, including multithreaded programming in C#; 3) build system observability and monitoring using Datadog, Kibana, and Grafana; 4) performance tuning and optimization across system, database, and .NET runtime using SQL Server Management Studio and DotTrace; 5) lead on-premises to cloud migrations, utilizing AWS, GCP, Docker, k8s, CI/CD pipeline management, and GitFlow; 6) SDLC using JIRA, Confluence, and Git; and 7) apply SOLID principles, Clean Code best practices, and Clean Architecture design patterns. Must include 2 years of experience with: 8) finance leveraging linear algebra.
