The Cloud DevOps Engineer (multiple openings) at MPG Operations LLC in New York, NY will architect, engineer, maintain, and optimize high availability cloud and on-premise Linux platforms. Gather complex business requirements to design and deliver strategic, scalable cloud solutions. Develop and implement automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools. Manage distributed source code via Git. Architect multi-tier cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services by writing advanced Infrastructure-as-Code. Manage containerized application lifecycles using Docker and Kubernetes for microservices-based architectures. Perform data analysis and visualization using Tableau to report cloud billing metrics and drive resource cost-optimization. Execute incident management protocols and take end-to-end ownership of production environments, including on-call rotations for mission-critical systems. Integrate and operationalize AI/ML workflows and data-intensive computational models within the cloud ecosystem. Salary: $175,000 - $250,000 per year. Minimum Requirements: Requires a Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, and 2 years in a Software Developer, or related, occupation. Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following: 1) design, deploy, and oversee production environments in AWS, including incident management protocols; 2) develop and maintain infrastructure-as code solutions using Terraform to automate resource provisioning across multi-account cloud environments; 3) maintain scalable application lifecycles using container orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes; 4) build and maintain automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using Jenkins; 5) maintain distributed source code using Git; 6) develop infrastructure automation scripts and tools using Python; and 7) deploy, configure, and manage PostgreSQL and MySQL within a cloud environment.
